11/7/09 Fishing Report

Got out on Saturday, sure was a nice day but was a little windy for me. Went out in search of some big pike and came up empty handed. I picked a lake that doesn't have much for numbers, but great size potential for the metro area. Tried bucktails and crankbaits and stuck to shallower water and structure. I feel like I could have done better had I tried a little longer but its gets dark early and it was cold in the wind. I cant wait to get out on the ice! Bring on the hard water season!
